A secure, supportive place to stay

  • 6 beds in a secure, supportive environment (3 private bedrooms)
  • Specialized staff trained in crisis intervention, safety planning, and danger assessment
  • Free on-site laundry facilities
  • Hot meals and snacks provided daily
  • Emergency clothing available for both children and adults
  • Private spaces, including a deck and yard, for comfort and privacy

What to expect during your stay

  • Short-term, secure accommodation for women and their children, or other women in crisis, on a 24-hour basis
  • Food and personal incidentals for residents
  • Emergency transportation to the shelter
  • Lay-counselling support during the stay
  • Support information and referral services as needed
