Who we are
We are the only domestic violence shelter in Grande Cache, and we have stood here for more than 35 years.
When the nearest help can be hours away, being here matters. We offer a safe place to stay, someone to talk to, and steady support for women and children, whether you stay with us or reach out from home. Everything we do is confidential, and free.
How we help
Support that meets you where you are
Emergency Shelter
Short-term, confidential accommodation for women with or without children. Food, support, and a calm place to rest while you decide what comes next.
Outreach Support
For women in the community, including those who have not stayed with us. Someone to talk to, help finding your way, and steady company. Free and open to all.
Community Education
Workshops in schools and the community on healthy relationships and prevention. Because the surest way to end violence is to keep it from starting.
Comfort Zone & Stress Away Days
A quiet, welcoming space to pause, with twice-monthly gatherings. No crisis needed, no pressure. All women in the community are welcome.
